Sacred Violin Beginner Book 1 is a music book for beginning note-reading violinists that teaches beloved hymns. The hymns are written in the same key as they appear in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hymnal, allowing the violinist to be easily accompanied by any instrumentalist or vocalist with access to the hymn book (available for free online). The hymns are supported by scales, etudes, and music literacy to help the violinist improve their playing and music knowledge as they learn to play each hymn. Each book includes an inserted booklet with optional advanced duets that a teacher or more advanced violinist may use as accompaniment if desired.
